INTRODUCTION
The 2nd Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Sea Region Countries Mass Spectrometry Workshop is an international workshop aimed to promote meeting, discussion and cooperation among scientists from different countries, with special regards from Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Sea Region Countries, on fundamentals and applications of mass spectrometry. This edition is joined with MASSA 2013, the annual meeting of the Division of Mass Spectrometry of the Italian Chemical Society. Organized in invited lectures, oral communications and poster sessions, the workshop is an useful occasion for updating on the growing developments and rapid evolution of mass spectrometry in different fields.
