XIII EYCN Delegate Assembly – Torino 2018

The European Young Chemists' Network (EYCN) together with the Italian Chemical Society young group (SCI Giovani) are pleased to announce the 13th EYCN Delegates Assembly, which will take place in the beautiful city of Torino (Italy) from 6th to 9th May 2018.

The EYCN is a motivated team of young scientists from over 20 European countries, who want to connect young chemists from all over Europe, and give them a platform to exchange knowledge and experience. Like its parent society, the European Association for Chemical and Molecular Sciences (EuCheMS), the EYCN aims to: improve the visibility of chemistry, bring chemistry closer to a wider audience and make the subject more accessible both in Europe and beyond. Currently, the EYCN is a network of 22 chemical societies from 22 European countries. Each society nominates up to two delegates who will represent them in the annual Delegates Assembly (DA) and in the EYCN throughout the following year.

The Delegates Assembly is aimed to strengthen the links between the young chemists delegates from all over Europe. This meeting aims to reinforce the development of networks between young chemists, harnessing in particular their communication and working skills. In addition, it will point towards new professional opportunities and help motivating the entrepreneurship of the young and early career participants.
