Una riflessione sui Nobel 2025.

Siamo in periodo di Nobel e vorrei fare 2 considerazioni, una sui Nobel di oggi, una sui Nobel di ieri.

Per quella sul Nobel di oggi non posso da chimico che riferirmi al premio Nobel 2025 per la Chimica da poco comunicato e dedicato alla messa a punto di strutture capaci di immobilizzare ed isolare all’interno di sistemi complessi componenti di particolare, assegnato a Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson e Omar Yaghi per lo sviluppo di strutture metallo organiche.

Trattasi di una sorta di economia circolare di seconda generazione che i vincitori hanno proposto per recuperare acqua ed inquinanti vari dall’aria, CO2 ed idrogeno dall’ambiente.

Incredibile Scienza la Chimica: solo poco più di 60 anni fa – un batter di ciglia rispetto alla Storia del mondo – capace di sollevare le economie ferite dalla guerra, poi scoperta ambientalista innovando produzioni e tecniche, infine fino al premio di ieri, circolare con l’invenzione di quella che vorrei chiamare la macchina del recupero universale.

Per il passato invece, tenuto conto dell’importanza della Scuola, di cui tanto si parla in chiave politica in questi giorni in Italia, vorrei ricordare il più prestigioso studio, per l’appunto valso il Nobel a Schulz ed Heckman nel 1979, che hanno quantificato il rapporto di proporzionalità diretta fra ricchezza di un Paese e suo livello di istruzione.

Applicato al caso Italia questo studio genera una perdita di 35 miliardi andati distrutti per mancanza di figure professionali e di mestieri attivi. L’incontro fra domanda ed offerta nel mercato del lavoro è essenziale, ma non come fatto straordinario ed eccezionale, ma come principio base di governance.

Questo principio ha suggerito nuovi cicli formativi e, rispetto all’Intelligenza Artificiale il suo ruolo di supporto che non può nè deve cancellare carta e penna che continueranno ad essere essenziali come strumenti di stimoli creativi e di apprendimento di base senza i quali la digitalizzazione viene subita più che applicata.
